Maryland Minimum Wage Updates

Maryland state minimum wage increases to $10.10 per hour on July 1, 2018 for all counties except Montgomery and Prince Georges.

Prince Georges County will remain at $11.50 per hour.

Montgomery County increases:

  • Employers have 1-50 employees   $12.00 per hour
  • Employers with 51 or more employees   $12.50 per hour

Most payroll companies will not automatically increase to the new minimum wage.  Employers need to contact their payroll service to adjust the hourly rates.
